What is Praevue?

Praevue is an educational tool that helps you model options scenarios with clear assumptions and defined risk before committing capital.

Is Praevue investment advice?

No. Praevue is an educational tool only. It does not provide investment advice. We show you how scenarios work, but all decisions are yours. See our full disclosures for details.

Is Praevue a trading platform?

No. Praevue does not execute trades, connect to brokerage accounts, or show balances.

What is a scenario?

A scenario is a modeled structure built from inputs such as strategy type, underlying price, expiration, size, and assumptions. Scenarios are simulated only.

What are assumptions?

Assumptions are the inputs the model uses to generate outcomes. These include pricing mode, timestamp, and implied volatility inputs. Assumptions are always shown alongside results and exports.

What does “delayed data” mean?

Delayed data means market prices are not real time. When delayed data is used, it is clearly labeled in the interface.

Are outcomes predictions?

No. Outcomes show possible results based on inputs and assumptions at a specific moment in time. They do not predict future market behavior.

What are tracked outcomes?

Tracked outcomes follow a saved scenario over time using updated market data. They show how the same scenario changes as conditions change.

Does Praevue show balances or performance?

No. Praevue does not show account balances, profit totals, or performance leaderboards.

What does “Why this failed” mean?

“Why this failed” is an educational review of a scenario’s outcome. It highlights what happened, which assumptions mattered, and what could be adjusted in a future scenario.

Can I export scenarios?

Scenarios can be exported only after they have been modeled and include a complete assumptions snapshot. Exports always include assumptions.

Do I need an account to use Praevue?

Some features, such as saving scenarios, tracking outcomes, and exporting, require an account. Viewing shared results may be available without signing in.
